Edwin R Haddon 68 Dies at Home Here on Carroll Street
Edwin Robert Haddon died at his Carroll Street home on Sunday February 12 at age 68. Born in London January 15 1854 he moved to America in 1871 and to this city in 1880s where he married Ida Pierce and raised six daughters. A painter by trade he was bedfast with arteriosclerosis for weeks, survived by his wife and children. Funeral held March 14 at his home with Rev Cooper officiating and interment in Henry Cemetery. pallbearers listed with out-of-town mourners named.

Moses German known as Mose, seventh child of William and Ada German, died in Denver Colorado of small pox sending grief to Pekin Illinois. Born 1888 in Hopewell he grew up on the family farm later moving to Henry and then Colorado. He married Julia Leckman in 1911 and had a son Billie before relocating to Denver where he held a good job and remarried. His passing brings condolences to his mother, brothers Charles and Ed, and their families.
