Infant Daughter Mary Jean Morris Dies At Eight Months
The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Morris of west of Putnam died at home on Tuesday March 11 at age 8 months 17 days. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. P. M. Cooper with prayers of comfort and a Christian hope. Burial followed in Henry Cemetery.

The groom, son of Tonica residents, is an Army veteran and former Bradley Polytechnic student awaiting a home near Tonica after April first.

The M. A. Daily store was broken into last Wednesday night, marking the third robbery this winter. Only a few cigars were taken as the burglars fled.
Lostant Couple Married Saturday at M. E. Parsonage

Dr E W Newhalfen becomes owner of the C H Davis farm of 140 acres on Big Sandy known as the lake Stonerplace after a March 1 closing. The farm near Henry features 100 acres in cultivation and the rest in pasture and timber. Lawrence Schwiderski will farm it this year with equipment and dairy moved to the new location, previously run by John Schlafiman.
