Funeral services for Willis C. Glesching 33 of Low Point who died at St Francis Hospital Peoria Saturday were held at the Community Evangelical Church in Low Point. Interment was in Mt Vernon cemetery beside his wife and a son Frank who died in a sawmill accident ten years ago. Surviving are two daughters Cora Mae Tolan and Mrs Pearl Shemas two sons Arthur and Glenwood a brother Henry Gieseking and a granddaughter. Former Henry Resident Dies at Peru
Funeral services for George Joseph Staab 63 who died at St Marys Hospital LaSalle after a stroke suffered at his daughter’s home were held at St Josephs Church Peru. He was born 1885 in Northampton and lived in Henry, Peru and Saratoga. Survived by five daughters Mildred John Romano Cecilia and Dorothy and Leonard plus 13 grandchildren and siblings and many relatives. Local and out of town relatives attended quarantine and floral notices reflected his esteem.
