The Varna Farmers Co operative Association held its annual meeting in the ag room of the Varna high school on Saturday. Manager Omgren reported the cooperative in sound condition with grain storage facilities planned and a stock split offer of six percent on all stock. Directors were elected and the group discussed future capital needs and expansions including two forage bins and grain facilities projected to store about 60,000 bushels. Officers Schwanke, Petrich, and Carl O. Johnson were re elected for three year terms.
