A short program follows in the auditorium recognizing new graduates and anniversary classes. The public dance will feature Bob Goodrich and his orchestra in the Henry high school gym. A bake sale benefit is planned for March 5 at Read Bros store with donations urged from alumni and the public.

Benefit supper raises funds for Harry Davis recovery
Over 400 attend a benefit chili supper at the Henry Legion home for Harry Davis, a local trucker injured near Hinsdale. Donations from containers at local businesses, ticket sales, and community gifts exceed the effort, with children contributing nickels and dimes and one boy giving his week’s allowance. Funds will be handed to the Davin family after banking and legal matters are resolved. The American Legion, Jaycees, and Boy Scouts organized the event and thank the community.
