Employee Injured At Hennepin Elevator
Mike Larkin of Illinois Grain Company elevator at Hennepin was injured Monday loading a barge. He fell into the barge, sustained a brain concussion and a fractured right leg, and was transported to St. Margaret's Hospital by Helmer Shields ambulance.

Cancer Society unit kicks off annual fund drive
The Marshall Putnam Unit of the American Cancer Society will hold a noon luncheon at the Farm Bureau Building on Wednesday March 15 to distribute materials for the April Fund Drive.
