Work on 89 A to connect Route 89 with No 2 through Stand Point will be completed this week with opening planned by mid July. Harden Construction Co of Springfield and Hartman Clark Bros of Peoria finished the slab between the county line and Cedar Point, routing traffic around the detour since last fall.
