John Turnbull of La Prairie Dies at 68
John Turnbull of La Prairie township Marshall county Illinois died July 11 1929 at his home after a long public career. He served 18 years on the Marshall county board of supervisors and was for 14 years president of the State Bank of Speer. Survived by wife Clara Noel and children Robert Noel John Lawrence and a daughter who died in infancy, with many relatives from Illinois and surrounding states attending memorial services at the United Presbyterian church in La Prairie.
