The Henry Chamber of Commerce promotes a one day visit of the Julia Belle Swain on August 4 with hourly noon to 9 pm trips from Waterworks Park boat launching area. Merchants offer drawings for free rides. rain or shine the steamboat arrives and activities may extend through the weekend. The vessel, launched 1970 in Dubuque, measures 157 by 276 feet with a 21 foot paddlewheel, powered by two 350 hp steam engines, and accommodates up to 400 passengers.

Library Board Proposes New Henry Library Building Plan
