Mail route changes shift service from Lacon to Sparland area
The Star mail route between Lacon and Varna is abolished. The last trip was June 30 when the contract with Fred Fetters of Lacon expired. Future service goes from Lacon to Sparland by train to LaSalle and Varna via the Seen Toute, starting last Monday. Last Rites Planned Friday for Mrs Sullivan
Margaret Sullivan wife of the late Lott Sullivan died at Henry hospital after an automobile accident near her home. She was born August 2 1861 in this city and lived in Illinois before returning to Henry. Funeral services will be at St Joseph's church with high mass and burial in St Patrick's cemetery.
