Man Loses Trousers in Peoria Traffic Crash
Frank J. Schetter 74 of Stoughton Wisconsin escaped with a slight hip bruise after a car passing by on First Avenue and State Street tore off his trousers. He had been staying at the Kickapoo Hotel during a visit and avoided hospitalization.

Mrs. Faye Dickerson Johnson 88 of Geneva Illinois a former Henry high school teacher died after a collision at the Route 30 and Route 65 intersection near Cairo Ohio. Her husband Arthur C Johnson a farm adviser survives with two children Thomas and Jane. The party included relatives and two other adults. Funeral services were held at Geneva Methodist Church.

The late Curtis C. Coulter born near Whitefield and raised in Feoria County will be buried privately July 12 at Henry Cemetery. He taught school, wrote editorials for major papers, served as Peoria Journal-Transcript reporter, and was an Internal Revenue collector based in Rock Island. Survived by Mary Ella Riley, three sons Curtis L., James D., Charles R., and three grandchildren.

Former Magnolia Man Dies in Jacksonville
Jesse Howard Bauser, longtime Magnolia resident, died of a heart attack at 1212 South Clay Avenue Jacksonville where he and his wife had lived since leaving Magnolia. He was born May 29 1865 in Arcadia and married Leonna Winningham in 1909 in Hardin Illinois. He farmed and belonged to the Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife five daughters three sons two half sisters two half brothers and fifteen grandchildren. The body rested at Williamson Funeral Home Jacksonville then services were held July 6 conducted by Captain Henri Servois with burial in Diamond Grove Cemetery Jacksonville.
