Clara Loomis Blackburn born June 6 1878 near Bradford Illinois lived near Boyd's Grove and Whitefield till marriage to William Blackburn on January 28 1896. They farmed then moved to Lacon raising seven children Kenneth Minnie Virginia Alvin William Genevieve Harold. Kenneth and Genevieve preceded in death. Survived by 23 grandchildren three brothers and a sister. She was a member of Lacon Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star and died June 28 1939 aged 61 years 22 days.
