Public Service Co. suffers 30000 damage in windstorm
A severe wind and rainstorm in northern Illinois last Saturday caused about 30000 in damage to Public Service Co. of Northern Illinois electric lines and equipment. Over 150 poles fell and a steel transmission tower roof was blown off a barn. Most service was restored by Sunday morning after rapid line repairs and close coordination among crews.

Judge Louis FitzHenry in Bloomington federal court ordered Henry National Bank assets pledged for a $65 000 note to First National Bank turned over to Adolph Wirtz conservator for the First Henry National Bank.
