Heart Fund Drive Kicks Off February First
The annual Heart Fund Drive begins February 1 with American Heart Month proclaimed by Congress. Three Teens Hurt in McNabb Road Crash
Three youths were injured in a two car collision on a McNabb blacktop road at about 8 15 p m Sunday night. Richard Seibert 16 of Hennepin George Cimei 17 and Norman Liles 16 both of McNabb were treated at St Margaret s Hospital in Spring Valley Seibert allegedly crossed the road center and struck Cimei s car broadside with Liles as a passenger.

Township Caucuses Set for Feb and Primaries in April
Township caucuses are scheduled for Tuesday February 6 to nominate candidates for spring township elections Tuesday April 3. Each township will elect a town clerk and four auditors, with some townships voting for supervisor, assessor, four board of town and road commissioner members.

Fire Department Answered Early Tuesday for Chair Fire
Henry Fire Department was called at 2 a.m. Tuesday to the Gladys Bayne residence on Third Street where a fire started in an overstuffed chair. The blaze caused little flame damage but considerable smoke damage to the home.
