Wetzel Butcher aged about 80 dies of bronchial pneumonia at Rutland Rest Haven Wenona on Jan 21. Born in Wetzel County Virginia he moved to Wenona in youth and never married. Funeral Services Saturday For B Reismeyer
Funeral services for Barney Reismeyer 76 were held at St Josephs Church at 9 a m Saturday. He died Thursday at St Margarets Hospital Spring Valley after months of ill health. He was born April 24 1871 in Putnam County and spent most of his life farming there. He served as road commissioner and school trustee. He married Margaret Curry November 28 1912 and they lived in Henry after retiring. Surviving are his wife one brother George Reismeyer of Peoria five nieces and nephews. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mark Kays George Haun Matt Steele Francis Boyle John Nader and Frank Nader. Green Funeral Home in charge.
