A Marshall County soil conservation district meeting on Tuesday January 25 elected Chas Schumacher Toluca and Edgerley on Board for two year terms. Francis Boyle of McNabb reported farm plans operations across 14 farms, 619 acres terraced and wildlife habitat improvements. Authorities urged terracing, updates to plans, and continued pasture and hedge projects as part of 1955 conservation goals.
