Aged Putnam Co. Resident Dies at 92 in Peru Hospital
William Zimmerman age 92 died Monday January 14 at People's Hospital in Peru after a January 8 fall fractured hip. Born March 8 1853 in Germany he married Elizabeth Haszler February 20 1881 and they neared their 45th anniversary. They had fourteen children. thirteen plus the mother survive. Funeral services were held Wednesday January 16 in the Dysart chapel conducted by Rev J M Johnson. Interment was in Granville Cemetery.
