Funeral services for Mrs. Losta Doran 88 were held at St Marys church with Rev Laurence Schutmacher officiating. Interment followed at Calvary cemetery. She was born Lokth Doelzer in 1866 and died January 12 1955 after years of ill health. She married T F Clover then Robert Doran and lived in the Edward and Richard streets residence later sold to Henry Christian church. Surviving are her nephew Barney Yaeger and other relatives with prior bequests of Alex Anna and Louisa Doelzer.

Final Rites Held For Otto Wirsing Of Mt Palatine
Otto Wirsing died January 13 after a short illness at St. Margaret’s hospital Spring Valley. Funeral services were held Saturday at County Life Lutheran church with Rev J M Johnson, interment in Peru city cemetery. Surviving are siblings and a niece. relatives came from Shabbona Berrien Springs Glen Ellyn and Chicago for the services.

Putnam County grade and high schools have started a milk program in cooperation with the U S Department of Agriculture and Commodity Credit Corporation to boost consumption. A small weekly fee will be charged per pupil. Prairie Farms Creamery of Henry supplies natural and chocolate milk with stainless steel dispensers. The response from students has been very satisfactory.
