Putnam County man dies after long illness
Putnam County notices the death of Homer Strosnider aged 80 percent, who passed away January 13 at St Francis Hospital Peoria after months of illness. He lived in Peoria since retirement and was a charter member of Knights of Pythias Lodge in Henry, and member of Dramatic Order of Knights of Parade Sant. Surviving are two sons Homer A and other relatives in Peoria. Funeral at Christian Church Putnam Wednesday 11:30 officiated by Dr. C Carpenter. interment in Putnam Cemetery. Cumerford Endsley funeral home in Peoria in charge. pallbearers listed.

A group of PTA members and families gathered at Henry High School for a second family night. A chili supper was served in the economy room at 6:30. John Ringenberg a 55 year old farmer from Tiskilwa was killed Saturday when his Ford truck at the Rock Island crossing west of the depot was struck by a Rocket train. He had been shopping for coal at Quick Lumber and attempted to escape but had no time. He leaves a large family, was unmarried, and a World War I veteran. Funeral held at Tiskilwa Mennonite Church.

He died Thursday at St Margarets Hospital Spring Valley after months of ill health. Survived by wife Margaret Gorman Keegan four sons Francis Raymond Arthur Louis a daughter Bernice Thompson all of Henry. Friends may call at the Keegan residence after 5 p m Thursday.
