Gottlieb Kemnitz of Varna Dies at 89 in Illinois
Gottlieb Kemnitz of Varna died at his home Tuesday morning at 89 years 1 month and 5 days. Born in Cophienberg Germany December 3 1834 he immigrated to the United States in 1857 and later settled in Marshall County. He was a founder of St Paul Lutheran Church and leaves wife Henrietta daughter Emma son Louis and many grandchildren. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery after funeral at 1P.M. and church services at 1:30 P.M. on Friday.
