Corn Spilled When Semi Rollover Injures Peoria Driver
Robert Smith of Peoria was injured Monday when his Knobloch Farms semi lost control on the Western Avenue curve, tipped on its side, and dumped about 825 bushels of corn into a ditch. Fire and rescue crews responded, Smith was freed, treated at Proctor Hospital, and released.

Hall Visits School Tim Hall Talks With Henry Students

Mrs. Marion Casey of Marshall County was appointed Circuit Clerk Pro Tem by 10th Judicial Circuit Judges on December 2 and sworn in by County Clerk Wayland Downey. Robert W. Frazee begins new duties as Marshall Putnam Agriculture Extension Adviser at the M P Farm Bureau building in Henry succeeding Walt Townsend. He and wife Alice Ann moved from Peoria with prior roles in Peoria County extension. Frazee, from Delavan, earned a BS at Western Illinois University in 1971 and an MS at the University of Illinois in 1972 and recently received the IEAA Action Award from the Illinois Bankers Association for county extension leadership.
