Mrs. Clift’s aunt Miss Helen Otto of Bloomington died New Year’s Day after months of illness. She fractured her hip six months ago and did not recover after re breaking the limb. The body lay in Beck’s Funeral Home and Christian Science services were held. Burial was in Park Hill Cemetery. Miss Otto, long a Bloomington resident, was the youngest of seven siblings and was well known to Henry residents through visits with her sister Mrs. Schiffbauer.

Funeral services were conducted for Josephe Walren Dawson of Macomb at Dodaworth Funeral Home with Rev. Colin J. Robertson presiding. Interment was at Vermont.
