Ruthann Nelson Glenn of McNabb Magnolia area died in a Route 89 traffic accident on December 30 en route to a high school reunion. Born July 3 1944 she was a beloved wife mother and friend with deep church ties and community service. Her funeral was held at the Friends Meeting House with a large regional showing of support.

Inquest Pending In Accidental Death Of Mrs Terry Glenn
The coroner has not set a date for the inquest into the death of Mrs. Terry Glenn who died in a highway collision near Route 89. She drove north and collided with Clark Austin of Varna who was taken to St. Margaret's hospital in Spring Valley. Austin remains hospitalized with a broken shoulder in a cast and other injuries have healed. Funeral services for Mrs. Glenn were held Sunday afternoon.

Garrison Returns Home After Foot Surgery
A. C. Garrison is brought home from St. Margaret's hospital in Spring Valley after Thursday morning surgery to repair two broken bones in his right foot. He received the injury Monday when a garage door lifted unexpectedly as he worked on an electric eye, knocking him from a ladder. The foot is in a walking cast and he can move around with some difficulty.

Grandmother of Several Local Residents Dies In Kentucky
Word reached here last night of the death of Mrs. Mary L. Buckley of Loretto Kentucky aged just shy of 93. She was the mother of the late Mrs. Hubert Mattingly and is survived by daughter Mrs. John L. Peterson, 33 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was well known locally and often visited her daughter and grandchildren.
