Putnam County Native Dies in Peoria
Mrs. Henplet a Hopper 75 died Monday at St. Francis hospital in Peoria. Funeral services were held at Henry city cemetery after memorial services at Wilton Mortuary in Peoria. She was born in Putnam county August 7, 1880 and married George F. Hopper in February 1901. Surviving are one son, five daughters, two sisters, one brother and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services for Fredana Riggs 60 a former Henry resident who died at Methodist hospital in Peoria will be held at the mortuary chapel Friday. Interment will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. He served in World War I with the Marine Corps and worked as a Rock Island railroad clerk in Peoria. He married Leatha Knickerbocker April 21 1926 at Lacon and is survived by his wife two daughters four brothers three stepchildren 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Camp Grove Club To Hunt Foxes This Sunday
The Camp Grove Sportsmen's club fox hunts will resume Sunday January 8 in the Camp Grove area. Hunters meet at Camp Grove at 9 38 AM and a noon finish is planned. Four foxes were killed in the previous two hunts in this season. A good turnout is anticipated amid reports of foxes in the vicinity.
