Former Henry resident Charles H. Bell was found dead at his Los Angeles home around December 20 after a year of declining health. Born January 1, 1867 in Henry, he moved to Los Angeles in 1921 and left a note requesting his daughter be notified. He operated a garage and machine shop before retiring to storage business duties. He is survived by daughter Lolita L. Thomas of Los Angeles two granddaughters Jeanne M. Bell Madelaine and Roberta Bell and sister Miss Annie L. Bell of Henry.
