Wayne Grant 12 son of Mr and Mrs Warren Grant died last Wednesday at 10 a m at his Tonica home half a mile northwest of town after a long illness from streptococcal throat infection that weakened his heart. He was born in Tonica and attended local schools. Surviving are his parents two sisters Doris and Irma and grandparents Mr and Mrs Albert Grant and Mr and Mrs John Weide. Funeral was held Friday at 1 30 p m from the home to Tonica Methodist church with services at 2 p m. Burial in Tonica cemetery.
