William Glunz 84 retired farmer and longtime resident died Friday December 8 1965 at St Margaret s Hospital Spring Valley. Funeral held December 6 at Green Funeral Home with Rev Jerry Elmore officiating. Pallbearers were Chuck Morgan George Okerberg William Held Anton Schlosser Lyle Schlosser Clifford Mercian. He was born August 22 1881 in Whitefield township and married Ma bel Weaver October 21 1903. They lived on a Hopewell township farm before moving to Henry. He leaves Tillie Brown six grandchildren 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was predeceased by a son Louis and a grandson John Glunz. Card of Thanks from the family.

Henry city council in a special meeting created a licensed landfill system with a $500 annual fee and licensed refuse collectors at $100 a year.
