Edward, formerly a Magnolia resident now living in Streator, died Tuesday morning from self inflicted injuries. Found by his wife in the garage, he had slashed his throat with a razor after leaving the house. Survived by his wife, three daughters, a son, and a brother D W Defen baugh and Mrs E D Jenkins of Lagoon. Funeral services held at Lostant this afternoon.

Widow of Theodore Rott dies in Magnolia township
Mrs Theodore Rott died at her home in Magnolia township on Thursday morning after a six week illness. She was born Roseanna Cassidy in Wales on March 14 1866 and later lived in Wenona and McNabb before settling in the area. She married Theodore Rott twenty years ago at St Marys church Wenona. She was active in St Josephs church and in the local community. The notice notes a Fair at Marshall County with various events and admission prices.

Doctor Doran to Test Tuberculosis in Marshall Putnam Counties

The Piasa, a regular pleasure steamer between St Louis and Keokuk, reached Poole this morning with four newly married couples on board. After a brief stop the vessel began the return trip but, due to low Mississippi water and hidden rocks, suggested a detour up the Illinois River. On a prior voyage the boat grounded near Keokuk.
