He has built over a half mile of terraces since spring, reshaping water ways for future outlets. Missionaries From Java Speak At Henry Apostolic Church
Rev and Mrs George White, returned missionaries from Java, will address the Henry Apostolic church on Sunday September 2. They were in Java at the outbreak of World War II and left when the island fell to the Japanese. On furlough they are home briefly and invite the public to attend the service.

Saratoga Center School District Dissolved and Reassigned
The Saratoga Center School District 53 in Saratoga township was dissolved and folded into the Bradford Grade School district, with about 320 acres in the southeast corner joining the Doyle district. Territory southeast of Lacon split between Unit District No 4 and LaRose Grade School. The action, led by county superintendent C W Swanson on Aug 24, completes a series affecting seven districts in Marshall County under new law. All county schools now have teachers and will operate next week.
