The 37th annual Marshall Putnam fair at Henry opens strong with Tuesday attendance higher than last year aided by ideal weather. About 600 to 700 spectators packed the amphitheatre for horse races and gates up from a year ago. Livestock entries are piling up with 300 sheep 250 beef 210 dairy and 53 hogs, while 125+ race horses crowd the grounds.
