Varna Woman Dies In Auto Crash Near Ottumwa
Mrs. Ivadell Scott of Varna was killed when the car left the road and overturned near Ottumwa Iowa on Thursday morning. The party was en route to Creston to visit relatives. funeral services were held in Galesburg with interment at Hope cemetery. She was born March 11 1875 and survived by two sisters and a brother.

Sidney Ray 69 Dies After Months of Illness in Henry
Sidney Charles Ray a longtime Henry resident died at his home after a months long illness. Born in 1862 at Hennepin he lived near Peoria before settling in Henry thirty three years ago where he ran a woodworking shop. His wife Jennie Hartley Ray died six months ago. He was a member of St Joseph's Church and Modern Woodmen. Funeral services were held at St Joseph's Church with Rev Harrington, casket bearers included Valentine Bogner Wayne Hupp William Steele Gus Doelzer Leo Klein and Richard Aylward, interment at Calvary Cemetery. He is survived by relatives in the area and visitors came from Chicago and Peoria.
