Death of Toluca Resident After Stroke
Joseph P Mouser, 4k, of Toluca died at his home on August 17 after suffering eight strokes. Survived by wife Katherine Mariott, three children Joseph Jr Scott Gerald and Katherine, plus three brothers and two sisters. Born March 19 1899 in Toluca he spent his life there and worked at LeTourneau Company Peers. Funeral mass was held Monday at St Ann's Church with burial in St Ann's Cemetery.

Star Union Brewery Marks 100 Years Of operation
During August the Star Union Products Company of Peru observes its centennial milestone, celebrating a century of Star Model Beer Star Pilsner and Sepp s Beer. OPA Refuses Beer Price Increase Amid Local Appeal

Mrs Hattie McCulley Dies At Age 79
Mrs Hattie McCulley died at home at 7 14 o clock Tuesday night after a long illness from Spring Valley Hospital. She would have been 80, lived with Mare McCuilley and his wife in law Mre Chirk Pall since 1915. Funeral services were held Thursday at Green Funeral Home, with Rev Donald Lemkau of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial followed in Maury City Cemetery with six nephews as pallbearers. A full obituary will appear next week.
