Edith Clift, a Putnam native and former Henry High graduate, taught in Putnam schools. Finnegan is from Putnam, raised on a farm. The couple will reside on the Grace Smith farm east of Henry after their return.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Cofoid 50 widow of the late Chester I Cofoid were held at the Methodist church in Hennepin. She died at her sister’s home in Granville after years of illness and a stroke on Monday. Surviving are her mother three children two grandchildren and several brothers and sisters from Illinois and Oklahoma.

Harriet Elizabeth Ketchum, born October 31 1862 near Henry Illinois, died August 20 1934 at Princeton hospital aged 71. She married Robert Gideon Moore in 1880 and had ten sons, nine surviving. Funeral held August 22 in Henry with burial in Henry City cemetery.

The relocations modernized and expand grain storage and barge loading to Chicago St Louis Memphis and New Orleans with rail connections eastward.
