Mrs Real Dies After Long Illness in Brainford
Mrs. Real aged 88 died after three years of suffering at her nephew Thomas Real’s home in Brainford. Born in Ireland in 1826 she emigrated to America with husband Thomas Real about 63 years ago, later living near Putnam and Menry before joining Thomas in Bradford and finally the city. Services were at St Josephs Catholic Church officiated by Rev Father Brennan with interment at Lone Tree Cemetery. pallbearers named.

Horace Dorff of Putnam suffered a broken right leg and a severe head wound when a speeding car swerved to pass on the hard road Friday evening. Dorff, returning home near Stephen Smith farm about 7:30, was investigating engine trouble when the collision threw him two rods. The motorist did not stop or render aid.
