Henry Goodrich Plant Announces Million Dollar Expansion
B F Goodrich Chemical Company plans to expand the Henry Goodrich Plant to boost Paste or Disper sion resin capacity and recover vinyl chloride monomer. The project will be partly financed by one million dollars in industrial revenue bonds issued by the City of Lacon Illinois. Initial city approval was given Friday night with final approval expected soon. The expansion, to be completed in early 1976, continues the site’s 1957 development on the Illinois River with over 233000 square feet and more than 300 employees.
