Residents and relatives travel for visits in Delavan and nearby towns. Mrs John Ross of Sparland and Mrs L L Staggs called on Mrs L day evening. Sarah Rutherford and her children Susy Robert and James visited Deputy Indiana relatives for a week. Nancy Graves of Lestant joined Clarence Frazier at his home. Robert Stadel had a tonsil operation at Perry Memorial Hospital Princeton. Several Chicago visitors stayed with Carl Otto family. Miss Marguerite Stadel attended the Ransom Torlinson wedding in Streator. Walter Miller and party visited Wapello Iowa and Smith relatives. Donald Ellis Morgan and family planned a week with Rutherford relatives at Devi tenis tenehar Rich. Dorothy Otto visited grandparents Carl Kaatz near Varna. Clarence Hollis Heininger and Ivan Barry visited Peoria. The Morgan and Rutherford families spent Sunday with Frank Morgan at Lostant.
Mrs Theresa Rinn 80 born Theresa Siettrick died at her son Charles Rinn’s home near Pontiac Illinois on Saturday July 15. She had lived in Pontiac since her marriage to Andrew Rinn at Leonore in 1877. Two sons survive.
Henry Illinois officials discussed rising costs and wage increases affecting the Henry exchange. Company executive Mr. Higgins noted 25 percent wage rises, social security and unemployment taxes, and accounting expenses while stressing the need for better service without current rate hikes.
Mr and Mrs Walter Reismeyer and others gather at several homes Sunday. Mrs Richard Giles Gerry, Mr and Mrs Russel Brunner and daughter, and Mrs Helen Towne, join visits with Glenn Thumma Otto Tindle and family. Jackson Timble underwent surgery in Peoria with family at his side.

Mayor hires fingerprint expert Fritz Eschler to compare prints found at two riverfront hunting lodges with CCC camp enrollees in Washburn. Result shows CCC boys are entirely exonerated of any guilt in the recent vandalism and burglary incidents.
City officials discuss proposed WPA sewer and treatment plants for Gilman Tuscola Arthur and Maron with Henry city considering a public vote on a future power system. WPA would install service pipes to property lines and costs to residents could mirror cesspool cleanup.
St Josephs St Marys and St Johns announce summer Sunday Masses at 7 and 9 a m with weekday services at 8 a m Holy Eucharist at 9 a m and preaching by Father Ewan. First Presbyterian schedules worship and Sunday School on listed Sundays in August with regular morning hours.
