Hotel Henry Dining Room Closes After One Year
C L Hughes of Peoria and Hotel Henry owners closed the hotel dining room after Sunday meals marking the end of a year of service by Mrs Harry Gowdy who also handled upstairs work and will continue. Hughes returned Tuesday to prepare installing a new water heater used starting last night.

A new submarine and several government boats, some built at Seneca, have moved down the Illinois River in the past days toward the Gulf of Mexico to join the fleet.
