Johnson dies after four year valvular heart trouble home death
Morse Johnson, aged 47, died at his Putnam home on a Saturday after a four year valvular heart ailment. Born April 22 1880 to George and Emma Johnson in Putnam he married Sarah Hubbard on July 15 1919. A National Guard veteran he served in the 6th regiment then the 123rd Battery E Field Artillery. Funeral at his late home Monday guided by Rev W J Cater with Legion pallbearers and taps. He is survived by his wife two sisters and a brother. parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
