University seeks 10.5 million for next biennium
The University of Illinois requests 10.5 million for the 1921 23 biennium arguing justification is needed as state appropriations have grown slowly. Data show the university's share fell from 16.2 percent in 1911 to about 8.8 percent in 1919 while total state funding rose sharply. A Danish proverb about luck and character closes the piece.
