Developers eye mill site for new hotel
Hendersonville city leaders weigh a downtown hotel plan on the Grey Hosiery Mill property at Grove Street and Fourth Avenue. A public meeting next month will show a scale model of an 80 to 100 room multistory hotel. Council members cite benefits from tying downtown to Seventh Avenue, the bikeway, and a greenway corridor linked to the Ecusta Trail, extending an eight year push to develop the city owned mill.
