Founding Charters Unveiled at Historic Courthouse Plaza
Henderson County officials dedicated the Charters of Freedom display at the Historic Courthouse plaza. The exhibit includes the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights with 12 amendments. Presented by Foundation Forward Inc, the monument rests on concrete foundations weighing over 19 tons. Morgan ton resident Vance Patterson founded the bringing organization and shared emotional memories from Washington.
