BRCHS CEO to join Appalachian Regional Health in Boone
Jennifer Henderson, BRCHS chief executive for five years, will leave Nov. 15 to become vice president of Appalachian Regional Health System in Boone. She led BRCHS through growth including a 27,000 square foot health center and a Satellite in Brevard, expanding access to care in Hendersonville and Transylvania County. Board chair Gerald Maier praised her for expanding services, professionalizing operations, and strengthening community health partnerships. A search committee will name a successor. BRCHS serves Hendersonville area for nearly 50 years with medical dental and mental health care.
