Hendersonville Eyes New Impact Fee Rewrite for Homes Over Businesses
Hendersonville City Council endorsed a consultant plan shifting system development charges from new commercial projects to new homes. The draft would raise overall revenues, doubling annual impact fees from 226000 to 452000, with large users reduced by 80 percent and residential charges tripled, aiming to fund water and sewer capacity while protecting existing ratepayers.
