Hendersonville clock repair kicks off with new control box
Volunteers from the Western North Carolina Chapter 126 of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors disassembled the 1927 McClintock clock at Main Street and Fourth Avenue to install a new electronic control box and parts. Edward Kara and Wayne Arcuri led the team as they prepare wiring updates and a backup system to sustain time during power outages and DST changes. Funding comes from the City Council, Downtown Economic Development, and the Genealogical and Historical Society, coordinated by Mark Ray of Dad's Collectibles.
