Preservation group to guide mill redevelopment effort
Hendersonville City Council voted unanimously to transfer the historic Grey Hosiery Mill and property to Preservation North Carolina after due diligence, secured financing, and an agreement with the nonprofit. The plan routes sale to White Challis Investors Realty and HD Investors, with a $100,000 target price, under preserved sections and zoning use, pending a brownfields agreement shielding new owners from legacy pollution.
