Mills River Brewery expands with new facility at Rockwood site
Mills River Brewing Co founders Joey Soukup and Patrick McCarthy outline plans for a 3.7 acre town land sale for 416 250 and a new 10 barrel brewhouse. They aim to add bottling and 15 to 20 taps with outdoor spaces and event areas while expanding distribution across western North Carolina venues. The groundbreaking event featured investors Evan and Jeff Golliher and marked the next growth phase as construction is expected to take about a year.
