Laurel Park backs Jump Off Rock upgrades and Fifth Avenue trees
Laurel Park Town Council endorsed in concept a Jump Off Rock improvement plan with signage trails fencing and a stage plus a Fifth Avenue tree planting project. The Civic Association aims to raise funds beyond an initial 1500 while officials estimate total costs around 39526. A three thousand dollar local funding match from the council and First Congregational Church will fund the tree plantings across from Laurel Green to White Pine Drive with dogwood red maple Norway spruce viburnum azalea holly and Japanese zelkova trees.
