Pardee Health Department forms Ebola response SWAT team
Pardee Hospital unveiled an Ebola response strategy with a 12 member SWAT team of doctors nurses security and housekeeping trained to identify isolate treat and dispose of contaminated material. The plan aims to minimize exposure by restricting contact to the trained team and using clinicians facilities public health staff and registration to access records. Henderson County Public Health also prepared its own protocols with an epidemiology team drawn from multiple agencies to handle a potential local case.
