Henderson County commissioners heard that the budget year ending June 30 showed revenues surpassing expenses by 7.45 million and a fund balance of 26.8 million, about 25.7 percent of the budget. County officials credited low spending, with several departments under budget, and a strong rise in property tax collections and investment earnings.
