Hendersonville Health Sciences Center opens after multi-party pact
Officials celebrate the opening of the Health Sciences Center on the Pardee Hospital campus as sun breaks rain during the ribbon cutting. Mayor Barbara Volk praises the five party agreement with Wingate University Blue Ridge Pardee and UNC Health Care, noting the collaboration keeps services in the community. The cancer center will use Pardee and UNC Health Care oncologists to bring advanced treatment closer to home.
